I have A-Level qualifications with a B grade in History and English Literature. I also hold an A grade in Biology at GCSE level. I am a current 2nd undergraduate student at the University of Kent studying Accounting and Finance. The range of subjects I have studied have required me to adopt different styles of learning and preparation. I am confident that this experience will translate itself into me delivering lessons that are engaging and thought provoking for my students. I have experience teaching English to my brother (primary school), and to my sister (secondary school and college). This has allowed me to work on my teaching style and to develop methods that are suitable for students- regardless of their age or starting knowledge.

ABOUT ME Lower level: English GCSE: English Literature and English Language Exam Board Experience: AQA and Excel Languages: English- Advanced level Preferred group: Any I am a second-year student Accounting and Finance student at the University of Kent. I want to tutor English and have experience doing so with my brother and sister. I enjoy the rewards that tutoring grants me, because it is an opportunity for me to help students improve their knowledge and understanding of a subject. In addition, I revel in the prospect of seeing my students grow in confidence and self-belief, that can be derived from the tutoring process. One thing I love about English is the personalised way of learning that is allows for, which I believe is key for the engagement of my students. As for me, I am a big fan of sports in general, but more specifically football and Formula 1. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym and or going to the local park and playing football with my friends.
